How do I subscribe to the Alzheimer List?

Method 1) In order to join, create a new email message from the email address account you wish to receive the Alzheimer List's posts. Address your new message to mj2@lists.biostat.wustl.edu. In the body of the message type subscribe alzheimer. Within 24 hours you should receive a confirmation message that you must send back to complete the process. Be sure and follow the instructions very carefully on what to send back. Once subscribed you will receive verification of your subscription and will begin receiving the list mail.

Method 2) Type in the email address that you want to receive the Alzheimer List email. Optionally, you may enter in your name (real or fictitious). It will appear in addition to your email address when you post. If you are concerned about anonymity, do not enter your real name and consider creating a free email address (with a non identifying name) with a service like Hotmail or Yahoo that will handle all of your List email. Within 24 hours you should receive a confirmation message that you must send back to complete the process. Be sure and follow the instructions very carefully on what to send back. Once subscribed you will receive verification of your subscription and will begin receiving the list mail.

Once I have joined, where do I send my posts to the Alzheimer List?

To submit a post, create a message from the email address that is subscribed to the List. Address your Alzheimer List post to alzheimer@lists.biostat.wustl.edu. Create an appropriate Subject line and then type your post just as you would any other email. Once you click Send, the List server will process your post and send it to all List subscribers. You will also receive a copy of your post.
