What is the Digest mode?
The Digest mode is a setting that allows each subscriber to receive approximately two emails per day containing all the individual posts to the List. At 4am and 4pm of each day, an email is sent out containing all the individual posts for the previous 12 hours. If you find that it is too difficult to receive individual posts as they are sent to the List, you can set yourself to receive the Digest. This helps to reduce the amount of messages in your inbox by sending you only two emails per day rather than 30 or more individuals posts from the List.
You can try Digest mode by creating a new email message from the email address account that you joined the Alzheimer List. If you haven't already joined the list, see Subscribe to the List. If you are already a member of the List, address your new message to mj2@lists.biostat.wustl.edu. In the body of the message type set alzheimer digest.
If you find that you do not like the Digest mode, you can reset yourself to receive each message as it is posted to the List. Create a new email message from the email address account that you joined the Alzheimer List. Address your new message to mj2@lists.biostat.wustl.edu. In the body of the message type set alzheimer each.
If you are having problems, send an email to alzheimer-owner@lists.biostat.wustl.edu. Please list the email address that you want changed in the body of your message along with which mode you would like (Digest or each).
