The basic idea of the Dementia Support Group is to have your Alzheimer List email sent to an alternate site should the main Alzheimer List go down. (The dementia support group is NOT generally open to receiving mail when the main Alzheimer List is operating.)
To do this, you need to include the dementia support group address along with the regular list serve address when you send emails to the Alzheimer List. Your "TO" line in your email client should read:
alzheimer@lists.biostat.wustl.edu; DementiaSupport@yahoogroups.com
alzheimer@lists.biostat.wustl.edu; DementiaSupport@yahoogroups.com
