Poster Presenter Application
Researchers are invited to submit a poster abstract for consideration for the 6th Leonard Berg Symposium. We have 30 poster slots available. Accepted presenters attend for free!
We will be reviewing applications for poster presentations up until September 1, 2007, or until all slots are filled. Early submissions may have a better chance for acceptance.
Any clinical or basic science researcher - senior investigator to new investigator to graduate student - may submit a poster abstract for consideration. We request that the research content be related to the topic of this Symposium (i.e., therapies for protein misfolding disorders) and that it be unpublished on the date of application. Work that has been accepted for publication, but is yet unpublished, is acceptable for submission. It is also OK to submit an abstract concerning work in progress so long as data will be available for presentation by September 2007.
Accepted presenters will receive free tuition to attend the whole symposium (a $200 value). Poster presenters must still pay their own travel, lodging, etc.
A formal poster viewing session will take place on Friday, 9/28/07, from 5:15 - 6:30 PM.
Structure of Posters :
- Your study material must fit on a 4 x 6 foam board (4' high, 6' wide). These boards will be provided and available to you for mounting your materials on 9/28/07 in the Lobby of the Eric P. Newman Education Center, Washington University School of Medicine
- The minimum font for all text is 22 pt. We suggest using Arial or a similar font type.
